Dear Spiritual Children and Friends of Padre Pio,

In honor of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, an annual membership drive is being done by the Society in order to recruit as many new members to join this wonderful and spiritually fulfilling prayer group.

I believe in the integrity of this prayer group because it is founded on our faith, to the Gospel, the Church and to the directives of our founder. St Padre Pio had a strong spirit. His obedience and fidelity to the Catholic Church and to the Pope, made it clear that all who follow him spiritually must fully express the same fidelity and love for the Church, Holy Father, sacraments, etc.

To participate in a Padre Pio prayer group means that as spiritual children of St Pio of Pietrelcina, prayer groups must be faithful to the following:

1. Live intensely in the grace of God and make use of the sacraments of the Eucharist,
   and reconciliation often;
2. Live the faith in words and actions, in a truly Christian life;
3. Make prayer, especially intercessory prayer and reparation, a daily practice;
4. Show love of Jesus crucified Christ, the blessed, our Blessed Mother, the Pope
   and the Roman Catholic Church;
5. Stay proactive with a sincere spirit of charity towards all.

The Padre Pio Society will prosper if there is a desire of all members to continue its mission of raising spiritual awareness of the many blessings of Padre Pio. All proceeds go towards the upkeep of the Padre Pio Chapel and outside sanctuary; sponsoring of dinner dances and religious bus excursions.

So, let all members of the Padre Pio Society accept with enthusiasm and joy the principles of the prayer group inspiring them to conform to the rules of the Pontifical Magisterium so that they will be better able to achieve their own Christian formation through liturgical and community prayer out of love for the Lord and the suffering brethren.
